David is a contemporary paper artist based in the Pacific Northwest.  Drawing from a colorful history as a DJ and bartender amongst other professions, he settled in various corners of the American West, collecting the stories and perspectives that now fuel his art.  For over two decades, the repetitive rhythm of folding paper cranes has served as his sanctuary.  Origami has been a meditative constant that has anchored him through life’s most challenging chapters.

Working primarily with traditional techniques, David now creates intricate floral arrangements that explore themes of transformation, patience, and renewal.  Each piece is individually folded by hand, with hundreds of precise creases forming blossoms that never fade.   His work reflects a core belief that beauty emerges from quiet intention, turning simple sheets of paper into enduring expressions of resilience.
